Curlicue House explores the relationship between monumentality and softness through the interplay of crisp architectural forms and gently curving walls. Conceived for Singapore's tropical climate, the house dissolves the boundary between indoors and landscape, allowing light, air and greenery to shape the experience of everyday living.

Organised around a sequence of compressed and expansive volumes, the home unfolds through a carefully choreographed spatial journey. Double-height voids, framed views and an internal courtyard draw daylight into the interior, while a restrained palette of timber, stone and plaster lends warmth and quiet permanence to the spaces.

Its monolithic form is softened by a sculpted façade that shifts with the changing light, casting subtle shadows that animate the building throughout the day. Rather than relying on ornament, the architecture finds expression through proportion, light and material restraint, creating a home that is both contemplative and enduring.
